Network Support Engineer

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Network Support Engineer at the Project Management & Implementation Unit under the Sindh Social Protection Authority, Government of Sindh. This is a contractual assignment aimed at bolstering the technical infrastructure of the social protection delivery system.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants are required to possess a minimum of sixteen (16) years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or another relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience in network administration, network support or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of LAN, WAN and wireless networks.
• Practical experience with managed switches, routers, wireless access points and structured network cabling.
• Exposure to cloud networking (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or similar) will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working in public sector organizations or donor-funded projects will be considered an asset.
