Reporting To

This Monitoring Officer position reports to the Unit Head - BIU (Business Intelligence Unit) & Performance Monitoring. This reporting structure ensures direct alignment with the bank's performance analysis and strategic monitoring objectives, playing a vital role in oversight and compliance.

Educational / Professional Qualification

Candidates are required to hold a minimum Graduation degree from an HEC-recognized university or an equivalent institution. A Master's degree or an equivalent qualification, or a JAIBP/AIBP certification, will be preferred, providing a stronger academic foundation for performance monitoring and financial analysis.

Experience

A minimum of 02 years of relevant experience is essential, with at least 01 year specifically in MIS (Management Information Systems) or other monitoring activities. Candidates with prior experience in Credit Portfolio Monitoring will be highly preferred, demonstrating direct relevance and expertise in the core functions of this role.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

  • Strong IT & MIS skills, including advanced-level proficiency in MS Excel, essential for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated capability as a team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various branches and field teams.
  • Strong knowledge of agriculture Finance/Credit, crucial for understanding the specific dynamics and risks of this sector.
  • Sufficient knowledge of applicable Prudential Regulations of SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) and other relevant banking guidelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced) coupled with strong data analytical skills, for comprehensive reporting and insights generation.

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To meticulously monitor monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for designated clusters and regions, providing insights into operational efficiency.
  • To diligently monitor the MIS (Management Information System) of Days Past Dues (at an account level) across designated Regions, identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • To closely monitor expired insurance policies and conduct timely follow-ups with the Regions, AFO (Area Field Officers), and Branches to ensure renewal.
  • To ensure vigilant monitoring of expired deferrals and facilitate their timely rectification processes.
  • To monitor and conduct follow-ups on expired limits, ensuring they are renewed at the appropriate level before their expiry.
  • To continuously monitor account turnover and mark-up recovery at the account level, contributing to financial health assessment.
  • To coordinate thoroughly with audit teams and facilitate the reporting of subsidy claims from the SBP and Government, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • To ensure that all subsidies received are appropriately allocated and realized in a timely manner across all Branches.
  • To ensure monitoring of the performance of product programs, identify their bottlenecks, and address day-to-day operational issues.
  • To disseminate Charge Off data to the Retail Banking Group, providing crucial information for risk management.
  • To monitor and follow-up on Charge Offs, ensuring that all eligible charge-off proposals are submitted on time.
  • To submit the Charge Off information to SAMG (Special Asset Management Group) on a monthly basis.
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the Supervisor(s), supporting overall departmental goals.
