The Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority (PAFDA), under the Home Department, Government of the Punjab, has been established to ensure the forensic examination and testing of fertilizers, pesticides, food, and drugs. Position Overview

PAFDA is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual for the position of Member Agriculture. This is a key leadership role focused on the agricultural domain within the authority.

Qualifications and Experience

• PhD in Genetics or Entomology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Soil Science or Analytical Chemistry or Plant Physiology from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
• Minimum 12 years post PhD relevant experience in research, teaching and/or lab management in public or private sector with a minimum 05 years' experience in managerial/leadership role.
• Must have minimum 15 Publications in reputable International Journals.
• Knowledge/training of Good Lab Practices (GLP)/ISO 17025 is mandatory.

Contract and Application Details

Salary: Negotiable.
Number of Posts: 01.
Contract Duration: Initial contract is for a period of three (03) years, extendable based on performance and organizational requirements.
