Job Overview

The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat, Health Department, invites applications for 03 posts of Medical Officer for District Nagar through walk-in interviews. These positions are part of the project titled 'SPS POSTS (TECHNICAL AND SPECIALIZED STAFF) FOR DISTRICT NAGAR'.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess an MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute registered by the PM & DC. No specific post-qualification experience is mentioned, but PM&DC registration is mandatory.

Place and Station of Posts

The 03 available posts are distributed as follows:
1. BHU Hoper Nagar - 01
2. 10 Bedded Hospital Ghulmat Nagar - 01
3. A Class Dispensary Barkhas - 01

Domicile and Age Limit

Candidates must possess a Gilgit Baltistan domicile. The maximum age limit for this position is 40 years.

Salary and Contract Terms

The pay package for MOs/LMOs shall be Rs. 150,000/- per month for all duty stations. The hiring will be made purely on a fixed pay basis for a period of one year. The contract terminates automatically after one year unless extended. Hired doctors cannot claim regularization.

Interested candidates fulfilling the required qualifications must submit their application along with one set of attested photocopies of all required documents (domicile, CNIC, academic certificates, experience certificates if any, valid Permanent registration with PM & DC, active cell number).
Applications must be submitted to the Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan office at New Secretariat Jutial, Gilgit by 8th May 2025.
Walk-in interviews are scheduled for 14th May, 2025 at 10:30 AM.
Existing Govt. employees must apply through the proper channel.
No TA/DA is provided for the interview.
