This is an open merit position for Mechanic Automobile (BPS-11) at the Directorate Small Industries and Sericulture Balochistan. The role is based in Quetta. The Mechanic Automobile will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of departmental vehicles, ensuring their efficient operation.

Prescribed Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a three-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Automobile Technology. In addition to the diploma, a minimum of two years of practical experience in the relevant field (automobile mechanics) is mandatory to ensure hands-on expertise.

Age and Gender Requirements

The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 28 years. However, age relaxation may be granted as per government rules. This position is open to both male and female candidates.

Domicile and Place of Posting

Applicants must possess a local or domicile certificate of Balochistan and provide an attested copy of their CNIC. The place of posting for this position will be Quetta, Balochistan.

• Government employees must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
• Candidates meeting the required criteria must attach attested copies of all educational certificates, CNIC, local/domicile, and one attested photograph with their application.
• Candidates will be called for a test and interview in Quetta.
• All documents submitted with the application must be properly attested.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
• The number of advertised posts may increase or decrease.
• As per the directives of the Government of Balochistan, a 5% quota is reserved for disabled candidates and a 5% quota for female candidates.
• No recommendation from a government employee will be accepted.

Interested candidates should submit their applications along with all required documents to the office of the Director General Industries & Commerce (Small Industries Wing), Sirki Road, Quetta. All applications must reach the office by 20 June, 2025. Ensure all photocopies of documents are attested.
