Role Overview

The Manager, IT establishes and manages Daanish University's IT infrastructure and digital systems to support academic and administrative functions, providing technical support for staff and faculty.

Qualification Requirements

Essential: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
IT-related certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, or AWS would be highly beneficial.
Degree(s) must be from a HEC-recognized national or international university/institution.

Experience & Skills

Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, software development, network management, etc.
Proficiency in network administration, cybersecurity, cloud services, and database management.
Ability to manage vendors and build a support function from scratch.
Experience in higher-education IT, or setting up IT systems for new organizations.
Experience with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas) and SIS.
Experience hiring and managing junior IT staff.
Ensuring data privacy across all systems, in compliance with Pakistani laws.
