About the Role

The Manager Business Development will be instrumental in fostering business growth and supporting entrepreneurial ventures within the project framework. This role involves developing and executing strategies for startup incubation, enterprise growth, and providing comprehensive support programs. A key focus will be on tailoring these initiatives to meet the unique needs and aspirations of women entrepreneurs, contributing significantly to their economic empowerment and market integration.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university. Desired specializations include Business Studies, Management Sciences, or Social Sciences, providing a strong foundation for understanding market dynamics and development principles.

Experience

A minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in business development, startup incubation, enterprise growth, or entrepreneurship support programs is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a development or public sector setting, indicating familiarity with relevant operational contexts and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills

The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to conceptualize and implement business development strategies specifically tailored to the needs of women entrepreneurs. Expertise in guiding startups through business model refinement, customer segmentation, pricing, and marketing strategies aligned with market realities and gender-responsive approaches is essential. Demonstrated ability to design, organize, and deliver impactful workshops and training sessions focused on branding, marketing, sales, and enterprise growth for women entrepreneurs and startup ecosystems is also a key skill.
