Educational Qualification and Experience

Candidates applying for the Lower Division Clerk position must meet the following criteria:
  • Education: Matriculation (Matric).
  • Skills: Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.).
  • Training: Must have completed a 3-week basic IT training course, including proficiency in MS Office, conducted by the National Information Technology Board (NITB).

Age Limit

The required age limit for applicants is between 18 and 30 years. This includes a 5-year general age relaxation. Further age relaxation may be admissible in accordance with the 'Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993'.
