Overview

The University of Agriculture Swat, a public sector university chartered by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications from qualified Pakistani nationals for the positions of Lecturers (BPS-18) on a regular basis. Openings are available across multiple modern departments and disciplines to enhance academic and research excellence.

Disciplines and Vacancies

Positions are available in the following disciplines:
Two each in the discipline of:

• Climate Resilient Mountain Agriculture (with specialization in Climate Change Science & GIS)
• Computer Science
• Artificial Intelligence
• Human Nutrition
• Food Science & Technology
• Plant Breeding & Genetics

One each in the discipline of:

• Entomology
• Soil & Environmental Sciences
• Islamic Studies

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career. Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.

How to Apply

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. All candidates must create a profile on ETEA's website (www.etea.edu.pk) to apply online. After creating the profile and before depositing the fee for any post, candidates must print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA's website and get their CNIC verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise. Upon successful submission of the online application, a prescribed online deposit slip containing the candidate's token number, project code, and personal information will be generated. Candidates are required to deposit the prescribed non-refundable test fee through Easypaisa app, Easypaisa agent, or any branch of UBL Bank using the generated deposit slip. The online application form shall be available from 26th August, 2026, and the last date for submission of applications is 16th September, 2026.
