Lasbela University of Agriculture Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), a Public Sector University recognized and approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, invites applications from dedicated Pakistani Nationals for faculty positions.

Position Details

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer purely on a contract basis for a period of one year for the Main Campus Uthal and its Campuses (University College of Dera Murad Jamali and Sub Campus Wadh). The contract is extendable based on satisfactory performance.

Qualification and Experience

The requisite qualification and experience for the Lecturer position are as per the HEC and LUAWMS criteria. Applicants are advised to consult the HEC website (www.hec.gov.pk) and the LUAWMS website (www.luawms.edu.pk) for detailed requirements.

Application Process

1. Download the prescribed application form from the university website.
2. Deposit the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2500 ONLINE.

3. Attach the original, signed/stamped deposit slip with the application form.
4. Submit the complete application form to the Registrar, LUAWMS, by courier or registered post by the deadline: 15 April 2025.
5. Applications that are incomplete or received late will be rejected.
6. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
7. Government employees must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC. Selected candidates must ensure they are properly relieved from their previous departments.
8. For multiple positions, submit a separate application form with all documents and the fee for each post.
9. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the test/interview (No TA/DA provided).
10. Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification.
11. Concealing facts or providing false information can result in termination.

Appointment Conditions

The appointment will be strictly on a contract basis for one year, without any right to permanent employment. LUAWMS reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason. The University's decision will be final.
