Job Overview

Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) invites applications from suitable candidates for appointment against the position of Lead Data Scientist (E-3). There is 01 position available for this job opening. Candidates must meet the required educational and experience criteria to be considered for the selection process.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants must hold a Master or Bachelor degree (16 years education) in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent degree from an institute recognized by HEC. Furthermore, candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or Predictive Modeling.

Submit a typed copy of the form along with a passport size photograph, attested copies of Academic Certificates/Degrees, Experience Certificates, CNIC, and Domicile Certificate. The applications should reach the HR Department, OGRA Head Office, Islamabad by post mail maximum by 12 September, 2026. Please mark the envelope clearly for the post applied.

• Only the most suitable shortlisted candidates will be called for Test/Interview, and selection will be made on merit.
• No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for test/interview.
• Application forms filled up improperly, incomplete, or without requisite documents will not be entertained.

• The maximum age limit may be relaxed with the approval of the Authority by a maximum period of 3 years, only.
