About the Job

The Office of the District Education Officer (Special Education) Gujranwala invites applications from eligible candidates for School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching posts in Special Education Institutions of Gujranwala Division. This includes districts like Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, and Hafizabad.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification and age limit as per STI Policy issued by Special Education Department.

• Junior Special Education Teacher (H.I Field): M.A or BS (second division or grade-C) in Special Education with specialization in the field of deaf or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.
• Junior Special Education Teacher (VI Field): M.A. or BS in Special Education with specialization in the field Blind or equivalent qualification and Certificate of proficiency in Braille.
• Junior Special Education Teacher (PD Field): M.A. or BS in Special Education with specialization in the field physically disabled.
• Junior Special Education Teacher (MC Field): M.A. or BS in Special Education with specialization in the field mentally challenged.

Terms and Conditions

Engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable. Duration is 09 months during Financial Year 2026-27 or till arrival of regular incumbents. Monthly honorarium is Rs. 40,000/- for BS-16. No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.
