Job Overview

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) invites applications for the position of Junior Computer Operator. This is a contract-based opportunity for individuals skilled in computer operations and office software, supporting WCLA's projects in Lahore and across Punjab. The initial contract duration is one year.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Computer Operator will be responsible for various tasks including data entry, document preparation using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other computer-related operations. A typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Intermediate (ICS).
• Alternatively, a Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills Required

Applicants must be:

• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Possess basic knowledge of data entry and computer operations.
• Able to type at a speed of 40 words per minute (WPM).

Application Procedure

Interested candidates meeting the criteria should follow the application process outlined below:
i. Applications for Sr. # 1 to 7 are to be submitted through the Punjab Job Portal: www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. Further job descriptions for every post are available on the Punjab Job Portal.
ii. The contract appointment is temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific, and confers no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be initially for 01 year, which can be extended or reduced by the competent authority.
iii. The offered salary against each post is on a lump-sum basis (including all allowances) with an annual increment according to Govt. of the Punjab notification (updated from time to time).
iv. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required for government servants at the time of job application submission.
v. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated/called for a test/interview through call/e-mail etc.
vi. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the test/interview.
vii. WCLA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any advertised post(s).
viii. The application should be submitted by the last date: 05-06-2025.
