Job Overview

The Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, is recruiting for the regular post of Junior Clerk (BPS-11). Eligible candidates must have a domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (including Newly Merged Areas/Districts). The role involves clerical duties, record keeping, and office support.

Qualifications and Age Limit

  • Qualification:
    a) At least Second Division F.A / F.Sc or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; AND
    b) A speed of thirty (30) words per minute in typing and capable to work on Computer in MS Office.
  • Age Limit: 18-30 Years.

Application Process via ETEA

Interested candidates must apply online through the Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) website. The process involves several steps:
1. Visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the desired post(s) online. The online application form will be available from 19th May, 2025.
2. After creating a profile on ETEA's website and before applying/depositing the fee for any post, candidates must print an E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website and get their CNIC No. verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without such verification, they will not be able to apply for any post.
3. Upon successful submission of the online application, a prescribed online deposit slip (containing a token number, Project code & candidate's personal information) will be generated.
4. Take a printout of the generated deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through the Easypaisa app or Agent, Jazz Cash app, or at any branch of UBL Bank or via UBL OMNI agent.
5. After successful fee submission, keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) with the bank's desired stamp with yourself. Do not share it with anyone else.
6. Important: After online application, do not send any documents/testimonials to the ETEA office. Copies of testimonials/documents will, however, be provided by candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when required by the Appointing Authority for scrutiny purposes.
7. The last date for submission of the Online Application is 10th June, 2025.
8. Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slip from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates are directed not to give ported / converted mobile numbers.
9. The Test Date, Time, and Venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip.
10. No separate Call Letter will be issued to candidates for the screening test through posts/courier.

General Terms and Conditions

  • Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. However, detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority, and if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority.
  • Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only after the screening test.
  • Screening of candidates will be based on a test to be prescribed and conducted by ETEA.
  • Candidates shall be eligible in all respects by the last date of receipt of applications. Incomplete applications and applications received after due dates will not be entertained.
  • Relaxation of age will be admissible as per existing government rules.
  • Candidates applying against the disable quota will be required to submit a disability certificate issued by the provincial council for rehabilitation of disabled persons as well as from the respective medical superintendent / medical board showing therein the specific disability. Both certificates must be issued before the closing date of the advertisement.
  • Candidates working in government / semi-government bodies should apply through the proper channel.
  • Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with a separate fee.
  • The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies while mentioning a cogent reason thereof or to cancel/reject any application with assigning reason.
  • No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.
  • In case of a foreign degree, equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided.
  • Errors/Omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.
