Project Overview

The Government of Sindh through the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) is implementing the Karachi Mobility Project (Yellow Line Corridor). Financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) supports this project. SMTA intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

Job Description & Requirements

Position: ITS Procurement Specialist (Expert Consultant)
Reference No: PK-SMTA-561060-CS-INDV
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Transport Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in BRT projects or projects involving ITS system planning, implementation, coordination, management, BRT operations, ITS integration activities, passenger information systems, communication systems, and fare collection systems (AFC, AVM, OCC).
