IT Expert

About the Role

The IT Expert will be a crucial technical resource for the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Punjab Development Program, which is focused on the comprehensive development of urban infrastructure across 8 cities in Punjab. This role involves managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, providing essential technical support, and ensuring the smooth and secure operation of all IT systems. The IT Expert will play a key role in leveraging technology to enhance project efficiency and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the PMU's IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software systems, ensuring high availability.
• Provide prompt and effective technical support and assistance to all staff members on IT-related issues.
• Implement and ensure strict adherence to IT security policies and robust data protection protocols to safeguard information.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve operational efficiency and data management capabilities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of software solutions and applications relevant to project needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have 16 years of education (equivalent to a Bachelor's or Master's degree) in IT, Computer Science, or Software Development from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institute. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience in the IT sector is required. The maximum age limit for this position is 40 years, targeting professionals with solid technical expertise.
