Organization Overview

The Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from eligible and qualified individuals (Male/Female) on an equal opportunity basis. Punjab Domicile is required for the following posts for an ADP project titled “Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology”. The project duration is up to 30-06-2027 or till the completion of the Project.

Position: Heritage Impact Assessor

Tasked with evaluating the potential impact of development projects on heritage sites and monuments.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized University. Registration with PEC. A master’s degree or certification in Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) is desirable.

Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the related field preferably in the Heritage Impact Assessment & Conservation/restoration of heritage sites & monuments. Knowledge of Heritage laws and regulations in Pakistan is essential.

Age Limit

25-35 years.

Salary

Rs. 190,000/- per month (Lump-sum).

General Conditions

1. These appointments are temporarily in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific and conferring no right for regularization.
2. Offer salary against each post is on lump-sum basis (included all allowance) with annual increment according to government notification.
3. NOC for government servant/semi government servants is required to apply against these posts.
4. Incomplete applications will be rejected and only short listed candidates shall be intimated/called for interview.
5. No T.A/D.A will be paid to the candidates for interview.
