Finance Coordinator

Job Summary

The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely financial reporting in line with organizational policies and donor requirements. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by working closely with the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Process payments, manage cash flow and ensure timely bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and support the Finance Manager in financial analysis.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on financial matters.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, professional certification ACCA, CA-Inter, CMA, or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
