Finance Associate

About the Role

The Finance Associate will be a valuable member of the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Punjab Development Program, which is focused on enhancing urban infrastructure, particularly sewerage and storm water drainage systems, across 8 cities in Punjab. This position involves providing essential support to the finance team, assisting with various financial tasks, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The Finance Associate will contribute to the smooth and effective financial functioning of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist diligently in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and managing various accounts.
• Support the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Perform precise bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions to ensure data integrity.
• Help ensure strict compliance with financial policies, established procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide effective administrative support to the finance department as needed, contributing to overall team efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have 16 years of education (equivalent to a Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Economics, Accounts, or Finance from a recognized institution. A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a financial role is required. The maximum age limit for this position is 40 years, targeting aspiring finance professionals.
