About the Fellowship Program

Bahria Town International Hospital Lahore is offering an exclusive one-year fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. This program is designed to provide structured training, comprehensive clinical exposure, and hands-on ICU procedural training. Successful candidates will also receive guidance for international career pathways, including GMC registration and opportunities in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• First Preference: Candidates who have successfully passed EDIC Part I.
• FCPS (Medicine)
• MRCP (UK)
• MD Internal Medicine
• FCPS Anaesthesia / MD Anaesthesia
• Candidates who have completed FCPS Part-II training in Internal Medicine or Anaesthesia may also apply.

Fellowship Highlights & Career Opportunities

The fellowship offers comprehensive exposure to the management of critically ill medical and surgical patients. Fellows will benefit from bedside teaching, journal clubs, research mentorship, and preparation for the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC). Candidates with FCPS may also be eligible to pursue FCPS Critical Care Medicine training as per CPSP regulations, with potential continuation into a two-year training program.
