Training Program Overview

Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Hospital, a 650-bed teaching hospital in Wah Cantt, invites applications for its FCPS Part-II training program. The hospital features all major departments including Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics Surgery, Obst/Gynae, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Anaesthesia, Urology, Radiology, and Neurosurgery. All departments are fully recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for FCPS Part-II training. As the teaching hospital for Wah Medical College (WMC), it maintains an active Continuous Medical Education (CME) program and strongly encourages clinical research, offering a bright future for aspiring specialists.

Eligibility Criteria & Special Conditions

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the FCPS Part-II training program in Anaesthesia:

• Must have passed the FCPS Part-I Examination in Anaesthesia.
• Minimum passing aggregate in MBBS should not be less than 65%.
• Preference will be accorded to graduates of Wah Medical College (WMC) and local residents of Wah Cantt.
• Important: Candidates who have graduated from non-public medical colleges are not eligible and should not apply.

Application Submission Process

Interested candidates must follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Application Form:
Candidates must download and fill the prescribed proforma from the hospital's official website: www.hospital.pof.gov.pk. Note: To access the proforma, please open the website on a PC/Laptop and click on the 'More' option. Applications submitted without the duly filled proforma will not be entertained.

2. Required Documents:
The application, addressed to the Commandant POFs Hospital Wah Cantt, must be accompanied by attested copies of the following documents:

• PMDC Registration Certificate
• House Job Certificates
• Congratulation Letter/Result of FCPS Part-I
• Mark Sheets of MBBS (All professionals)
• Mark sheet of SSC Examination
• Mark Sheet of HSSC Examination
• Domicile Certificate
• CNIC
• One recent passport-size photograph

3. Submission Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by 27-06-2025.

Additional Information:

• Candidates wishing to apply for multiple disciplines must submit separate applications for each.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible.
