Job Overview

Commandant 606 Regional Workshop EME, Gilgit, a government organization, invites applications from Pakistani citizens for the permanent post of Electrician (Vehicle/General) in BPS-07. The role involves electrical work on vehicles and general electrical systems/generators. The position is based in Gilgit.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualification: Literate. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a relevant technical course.
• Experience: Must be a skilled artisan with experience in vehicle repair. Retired military personnel should have 3-5 years of experience in vehicle repair and possess a D/E license.

Age Limit

The age limit for this position is 18 to 30 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules. Specifically:

• 10 years relaxation for candidates under martyrs' package, postgraduates, residents of tribal areas, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sindh, and Balochistan.
• 10 years relaxation for disabled persons.
• Up to 15 years relaxation for serving/retired military personnel (provided total age does not exceed 40 years).

Domicile

Candidates must be domiciled in Punjab (excluding Attock, Mianwali, Bhakkar, and Layyah districts).
