Job Overview

A position for an Electrician (BPS-08) is available at the Directorate General of the Food Department, Government of Balochistan. This is a full-time, merit-based government job for a qualified technical professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the department's facilities.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in the Electrician post must possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Intermediate from a recognized board.
• Diploma: A diploma in the Electrician trade from a recognized Technical Training Center or an equivalent qualification is required.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Candidates must be residents of Balochistan and hold a valid local/domicile certificate.
2. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 28 years. However, an upper age relaxation of up to 43 years is applicable as per government policy.
3. Government employees must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
4. The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies at any stage.
5. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
6. Final selection will be based on merit after the screening test and interview.
