Organization Overview

The Directorate General Health, Government of Azad State of Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, is conducting walk-in interviews to fill temporary (ad-hoc) vacancies for the post of Drug Inspector / Pharmacist (BPS-17).

Context and Vacancies

These appointments are being made on an ad-hoc basis to fill positions that became vacant following court decisions regarding previous appointments. A total of 10 vacancies are available across the following districts/categories:

• Haveli: 1
• Neelum: 1
• Jammu & Kashmir Refugees residing in Pakistan: 1
• Muzaffarabad: 1
• Kotli: 1
• Mirpur: 2
• Poonch: 1
• Jhelum Valley: 1
• Jammu & Kashmir Refugees 1989: 1

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) from a recognized University.
• Registration with the Pakistan Pharmacy Council.

Walk-in Interview Details

Eligible candidates are required to appear for a walk-in interview according to the schedule below:
Date: Monday, 5th May, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM
Venue: Office of the Directorate General Health, D Block, New District Complex, Old Secretariat, Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir.

Required Documents

Candidates must bring the following original documents along with attested photocopies at the time of the interview:

• Domicile Certificate
• State Subject Certificate
• National Identity Card (CNIC)
• Educational Certificates (Matric, F.Sc, B.Pharm/D.Pharm)
• Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) of B.Pharm/D.Pharm
• Pakistan Pharmacy Council Registration

Terms and Conditions

• These appointments are purely on an ad-hoc basis.
• The Government reserves the right to terminate the ad-hoc appointment at any time with one month's notice.
• The ad-hoc appointment period will not be regularized or made permanent.
• No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance) will be admissible for attending the interview.
• Candidates arriving late may be interviewed the next day if feasible.
