Job Overview

The Director General, Disaster Management Authority, Gilgit-Baltistan, invites applications from suitable candidates for the permanent post of Driver (BPS-05). There are two (02) vacancies available. This is an opportunity to serve in a government department in Gilgit.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Middle Pass.
• Experience: Two (02) years of practical driving experience.
• License: Must possess a valid LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) or HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) driving license.
• Age Limit: 20 to 28 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Gilgit-Baltistan government rules.
• Domicile: Gilgit-Baltistan.

Application Process

1. Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Director General, Disaster Management Authority, Gilgit-Baltistan, Office Gilgit, during office hours (9 AM to 4 PM).
2. Interested candidates should submit their applications on the prescribed form along with attested copies of the following documents:

• CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
• Educational Certificates (Middle Pass certificate)
• Domicile Certificate
• Two (02) recent passport-size photographs
• Valid LTV/HTV Driving License
• Experience Certificate (2 years)

3. Applications must be submitted to the Office of the Director General, Disaster Management Authority, Gilgit-Baltistan, Office Minawar, Gilgit, within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
4. Government employees should apply through the proper channel.
5. The date and time for the test/interview will be communicated later to shortlisted candidates.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
7. The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
8. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each post.
9. Applications must include the applicant's permanent address, current address, and contact number.
10. Recruitment will be made according to the recruitment policy memo No.SO(S)-1-1(49)/2018 dated 16 January 2018 of S&GAD.
