The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator of capital markets and the corporate sector in Pakistan, is seeking the services of a qualified, result-oriented, energetic, and enthusiastic professional. The ideal candidate must possess impeccable integrity and exceptional analytical skills.Position Details
SECP requires a Director for its Islamabad-based Mergers & Restructuring Department. This is a contractual position offered on open merit.Qualifications
Candidates must possess one of the following:- Masters'/ Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Accounting/Finance or Law from an HEC recognized reputable University / Institute.
- Qualified CA/CMA/ACCA.
Post Qualification Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of managing financial/legal transactions related to Merger/Restructuring is preferable.
- Note: For qualified Chartered Accountants, CA Articleship will be considered as part of the requisite experience.
Age Limit
The maximum age should not exceed 50 years on the last date of submission of the application.Nature of Employment
- The position is offered on a contract basis for three (03) years, extendable based on need and performance.
- The Commission may consider regularizing the position after three years, subject to the candidate meeting the prescribed criteria.
