Job Overview

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates eligible for this Director General (BPS-20) position must be regular Government Officers currently serving in BPS-19/20 from Federal or Provisional Governments or Autonomous Bodies. A minimum of 15 years or more experience in a relevant field is mandatory. Eligible officers may belong to various groups, cadres, or organizations, including:
  • Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority or similar bodies in Federal/provincial Governments.
  • National Curriculum Council, or any wing/section of public sector organizations dealing with Curriculum, Standards or TVET Management related activities, including Pak Secretariat organizations.
  • Board of Technical Education/Trade Testing Board.
  • Higher Education Commission, National Accreditation Council, Pakistan Engineering Council.
  • Public sector organizations involved in Accreditation, Certification, Assessment, Research & Development, Project Management, and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).
  • Persons with a minimum Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any other similar qualification, coupled with experience as required for sanctioned positions in accordance with NAVTTC Service Regulations, 2018, preferably from federal and provincial organizations.

Terms and Conditions

This position is to be filled strictly on deputation through approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Only regular public/Civil Servants working in Federal/Provisional Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies in the same scale are eligible to apply; project-based employees are not. Applicants must secure and produce a departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview, and selection will be based on merit. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Any submission of fake or forged documents or attempts to influence the selection process will lead to immediate disqualification. NAVTTC retains the full right to accept, reject, or cancel any application or the entire recruitment process at any stage without providing any reason. Furthermore, the number of posts may be increased or decreased as deemed necessary. This advertisement does not grant any right of appointment on a permanent deputation basis.
