Deputy Director (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing - VAPT)

Job Overview

The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the position of Deputy Director (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing - VAPT). This role is based at the NADRA Headquarters in Islamabad. Qualified individuals with expertise in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and penetration testing are encouraged to apply online.

Educational Background

Applicants must meet one of the following educational criteria:

• Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or equivalent in a related field.
• Master's degree in a related field will be preferred.
• Minimum 16 years of HEC verified education is a must.
• Degrees must be attested by HEC.

Professional Experience & Competencies

Candidates must possess the following experience and skills:

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Application/Network Security and Penetration testing.
• Well conversed with Gen AI tools and technologies to support and conduct VAPT.
• CEH Certified, CHFI Certified preferable.
• Hands-on experience in Desktop, Web, and Mobile Application Penetration Testing.
• Expertise in deploying and operating security tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, Kali Linux, Hydra, Dnspy, Mobsf, etc.
• Knowledge of software and network architecture and application security/pen testing standards like OWASP, SANS, etc.
• Proficiency in conducting source code reviews, static and dynamic application security testing (SAST, DAST).

Terms and Conditions

• Selected candidate will undergo a 6 months' probation period, extendable subject to performance.
• Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.
• 5 years general age relaxation is already included in above age limit.
• Attested educational documents from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/respective regulatory body must be provided at the time of joining.
• No TA/DA will be admissible.
