Database Developer / Web Developer

Job Overview

Health Services Academy, a Government of Pakistan degree-awarding institute, is inviting applications from Pakistani Nationals for the position of Database Developer / Web Developer. This role is part of a PSDP project titled 'One Health Workforce Development and Coordination - Towards Pandemic Readiness' and is offered on a purely contract basis. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment focused on strengthening public health infrastructure.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• PhD: A PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

• Previous experience working in the public sector is mandatory.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies, SQL/NoSQL databases, and various cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills are essential for this role.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and version control systems like Git is considered a plus.
