Job Overview

Applications are invited for the post of Data Entry Operator (BS-14) within a Federal Department Organization in Sindh. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a Bachelor's degree and relevant IT skills. There are 15 vacancies for this position, with quotas for Open Merit (06), Female (07), and Minority (02). Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in the Sindh Province. The age limit for this position is 18-28 years.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate for the Data Entry Operator position must possess:

• Bachelor Degree.
• One year Computer / IT Diploma.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to transfer data from paper format into digital format.
• Ability to type Urdu language.
• Ability to use internet/e-mails.
• Ability to use Antivirus to protect residual data.

Application Process

Interested candidates for posts in BS-11 to BS-14 must apply online through the Online Recruitment System (ORS) via www.ecp.gov.pk or jobs.ecp.gov.pk. After online application, candidates are also required to submit hard copies of the auto-generated online application form (as a cover note) along with attested copies of all requisite documents (educational certificates, experience certificates, diplomas, CNIC, domicile, NOC if applicable, and one recent passport-size photograph) through Courier to P.O. Box No. 7200, GPO Saddar, Karachi. The name of the post applied for must be clearly mentioned on the envelope.

The deadline for both online and hardcopy submissions is 15th June, 2025.

Important Instructions:

• Failure to apply online for posts from BS-11 to BS-14 may result in non-consideration of the candidate.
• Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post.
• Incomplete or partially filled forms will not be entertained.
• Relaxation of upper age limit including 05 years general relaxation over and above the prescribed age limit shall also be admissible under the Initial Appointment to Civil posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.
• Quota reserved for Women, Religion Minorities, and Disable Persons will be observed as per Government instructions.
• Persons already in Government Service should apply through the proper channel and submit an NOC.
• Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in the Province.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
• Only short-listed candidates will be called for the test/interview.
• The Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process altogether at any stage without assigning any reason.
• Applications received after the cut-off date will not be entertained.
