The Finance Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is looking for aspiring Data Analysts to join its team on a contract basis for one year. Data Analysts will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analysis on various datasets to support financial decision-making and improve operational efficiency within the government.Key Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates for the Data Analyst position should demonstrate a track record of outstanding achievement, particularly through their academic performance. Graduates with no prior experience are explicitly encouraged to apply, as hiring will be based on their academic merit. Applicants must possess a minimum of sixteen years of formal education from a reputable local or international institution, specializing in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Finance. Relevant experience from the public, private, or development sectors, or a combination thereof, will also be considered, although not a prerequisite for entry-level applicants.Application Process

The recruitment process for the Data Analyst will proceed in three distinct phases:- Stage 1: Application/CV Review: All applications will undergo a thorough review, and shortlisted candidates will be selected based on their academic credentials, overall quality, and track record.
- Stage 2: Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will proceed to a written test. This comprehensive assessment will cover financial, technical, and strategic skills, and may include case-study or problem-solving approaches. Candidates achieving a minimum qualifying score will be moved to the next stage.
- Stage 3: Interview: The final stage involves an interview with a three-member panel, which will evaluate the candidate’s suitability for the position.
