Cyber Security and Forensic Media Management Consultant

Job Overview

The Provincial Security Unit (PSU), Home Department, Government of Sindh, is hiring a Cyber Security and Forensic Media Management Consultant. This contractual position, based in Karachi, is for an initial two-year term, extendable based on performance. The consultant will provide expert advice and management on cyber security, digital forensics, and media management related to security.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Advising on and implementing cyber security policies and measures.
• Overseeing forensic media management and analysis.
• Conducting strategic research and data monitoring in the context of cyber threats.
• Producing white papers, briefings, briefing notes, and legal reviews related to cyber security and media forensics.
• Staying updated with the latest trends and threats in cyber security and digital media.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree from an HEC-recognized national or international university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Cyber Security Programs, Mass Communication, Strategic Communication, Information Security, or a relevant field.
Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in policy formulation, strategic research, or data monitoring, preferably in a cyber security or media context.
• An effective track record of producing white papers, briefings, briefing notes, and legal reviews.
