Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

Role Overview

The Controller of Examinations is a vital leadership position at Lahore College for Women University, holding responsibility for the integrity and efficiency of the entire examination system. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of examinations, from scheduling and conduct to the declaration of results and issuance of degrees. This BPS-20 role requires a professional with impeccable administrative skills and a deep understanding of academic regulations. The appointment is on a contractual basis for three years and is not extendable.

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualification and experience combinations:

Path 1:

• A Ph.D. in any discipline from an HEC-recognized university or degree-awarding institute.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in teaching, administration, or a professional capacity within an HEC-recognized public/private university or public sector organization.

OR

Path 2:

• An MS/M.Phil. degree or 18 years of education in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant post-qualification experience.

OR

Path 3:

• An MA/M.Sc. degree or 16 years of education (at least 2nd division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Application Submission Guide

Prospective candidates must adhere to the following application guidelines:

• The official application form can be collected from the LCWU campus in Lahore (9 AM - 3 PM) by paying a processing fee of Rs. 3,000/-. The form and challan are also available for download on the LCWU website: www.lcwu.edu.pk.
• If applying by post, a Bank Draft of Rs. 3,000/- in favor of the Treasurer, LCWU, must be attached.
• The application package must include the filled form, a one-page CV, and attested copies of all academic documents, experience certificates, NIC, Domicile, and a recent photograph.
• The envelope should be clearly marked with the post title: 'Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)'.

The deadline to submit applications is July 8, 2025.

Additional Information

Applicants should take note of the following:

• Only degrees from institutions recognized by the HEC will be accepted.
• Foreign degree holders need to provide an Equivalence Certificate from HEC.
• Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
• Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview/test. No TA/DA will be provided.
• The university holds the right to change the number of posts or cancel the process without assigning any reason.
