The University of Chakwal invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Punjab for the position of Controller of Examinations (BS-20). This is a significant administrative role within the university, offered on a contract basis for an initial term of three years. The university seeks highly qualified and experienced individuals to manage its examination system effectively.Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:Option 1:
- PhD in any discipline from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Eight (08) years post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.
Option 2:
- MS or M.Phil (Second Division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC.
- Ten (10) years post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.
Option 3:
- Master's degree or BS (Second Division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC.
- Twelve (12) years post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.
Age Limit
The required age for applicants is between 40 and 50 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be granted as per the policy of the Government of Punjab.Appointment Details
The mode of appointment is contractual for an initial term of three (03) years.Application Process
1. Candidates must apply online through the University of Chakwal (UoC) website: https://careers.uoc.edu.pk/ by May 16, 2025.2. After applying online, candidates must submit two (02) sets of dossiers. Each set should include a duly signed online Application Form, the original paid system-generated Fee Challan, a detailed resume, and attested copies of CNIC, domicile, degrees, result cards, transcripts, experience certificates, etc.
3. Foreign Degree Holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC or IBCC.
4. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 5000/- must be paid in any branch of the Bank of Punjab.
5. Candidates already employed in Government/Semi-Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
6. Experience in Government service shall only be accepted if the certificate is issued by the concerned appointing authority/person authorized to do so.
7. Candidates must produce documentary evidence for claimed experience. Experience on Part-Time, Honorary, Apprentice, Internee, Visiting Faculty, and Daily Wages appointments will not be considered.
8. The duly signed hard copy of the online application form along with all required documents must reach the Office of the Registrar, University of Chakwal, Main Campus, Talagang Road, Chakwal through registered courier/post only by May 20, 2025, before 04:00 PM.
9. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
