Job Overview

The Directorate General of the Food Department, Government of Balochistan, is seeking qualified and skilled candidates for the post of Control Room Operator (BPS-12). This is a full-time government position located within the Kalat Zone. The role involves managing and operating the control room facilities of the department, requiring technical expertise and a high level of responsibility.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to apply for the Control Room Operator position must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Intermediate (FA/FSc) from a recognized board.
• Diploma: A one-year diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT) from a recognized institute is mandatory.
• Skills: A typing speed of 60 words per minute is required.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Candidates must be residents of Balochistan and hold a valid local/domicile certificate.
2. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 28 years. However, an upper age relaxation of up to 43 years is applicable as per government policy.
3. Government employees must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
4. Candidates can apply for multiple positions by submitting separate applications for each post.
5. The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies at any stage.
6. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
7. Final selection will be based on merit after the screening test and interview.
