Organization Overview

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA), Government of the Punjab, is executing the “Rehabilitation and Development of Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh for Promotion of tourism and preservation of tangible and intangible heritage, Multan” project. WCLA invites applications from suitable Male/Female candidates from Punjab.

Position Summary

The Conservation Forman will supervise on-site conservation activities, ensuring work is carried out according to plans and quality standards. This role is based in Multan and is crucial for the hands-on execution of conservation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise skilled and unskilled labor involved in conservation work.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on site.
• Coordinate with the Conservationist and other technical staff.
• Maintain records of work progress and material usage.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: Intermediate.
• Experience: 1 year in the relevant field.
• Domicile: Punjab.

Important Notes:

• The contract appointment is temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific and confers no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be for the duration of the project.
• The above-mentioned post is for appointment in Multan.
• Offered salary is on a lump-sum basis (including all allowances).
• NOC for government servants is required at the time of submission of the job application.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected, and only shortlisted candidates shall be intimated/called for test/interview through call/e-mail etc.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for test/interview.
• WCLA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any advertised post(s).
