Organization Overview

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Peshawar invites applications from permanent resident minority candidates of Peshawar District for vacant positions to be filled through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).

Position Details

Applications are sought for the position of Computer Operator (BPS-16). There are three (03) posts available, specifically reserved for the minority quota. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 28 years.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) / Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) - 4 years degree, with at least 2nd Division from a recognized University.
OR
2. Bachelor's degree with at least 2nd Division from a recognized University AND a one-year Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) from a recognized Board of Technical Education.

General Terms & Conditions

• Only candidates belonging to minority communities and domiciled in Peshawar district are eligible.
• Screening tests will be conducted by ETEA.
• Shortlisted candidates based on the ETEA test will be called for interviews.
• Appointments will be made according to the prevailing government rules of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Candidates providing false information will be disqualified.
• Government employees should apply through the proper channels.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
• The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease or cancel the number of posts.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates must apply online through the ETEA website: www.etea.edu.pk.
2. After successful submission of the online application, a UBL online deposit slip will be generated.
3. Take a printout of the generated UBL deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee in any branch of UBL Bank or at any UBL OMNI agent.
4. Keep the original deposit slip (candidate's copy) safe and do not send it or any other documents to the ETEA office.
5. The last date for submitting the online application form is April 30, 2025.
6. Candidates will be informed about the test schedule via SMS. Roll number slips will be available on the ETEA website.
7. Ensure all personal details, CNIC, and contact numbers are entered correctly in the online form.
8. Read all instructions carefully before filling out the online application.
