Community Medicine Trainee (FCPS/MCPS)

Program Overview

The Institute of Public Health & Social Sciences at Khyber Medical University (KMU) is offering a postgraduate training program in Community Medicine (FCPS/MCPS) starting in July 2025. This program is designed to develop leaders in public health who can address community health challenges effectively. Eligibility Criteria

Khyber Medical University has outlined the following eligibility criteria for applicants:

• Qualification: MBBS or an equivalent degree.
• Registration: A valid registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC).
• Postgraduate Qualification: Must have passed FCPS Part 1 in the relevant program OR hold an MPhil in the relevant program with an Exemption Certificate from CPSP.
• Experience: Completion of House Job with relevant certificates.
• For Foreign Nationals: May require necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from relevant authorities and may need to pass an entrance test as per PGMI regulations.
• Institution Specific: Individual institutions may have additional criteria, such as specific residency or training requirements.

The admission process will follow the schedule detailed below:

• Form Submission Deadline: 30-06-2025
• List of Eligible Candidates: 01-07-2025
• Test and Interview: 04-07-2025
• Merit List Display: 07-07-2025
• Commencement of Classes: 14-07-2025

Applications are to be submitted online. The online admission form will be available on the KMU postgraduate admissions portal from June 16, 2025. Applicants must complete and submit the form by the deadline of June 30, 2025.
