Brooke Pakistan is a non-profit public limited (by guarantee) company, established under section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. The organization functions in Punjab, Sindh & KPK with the mission to improve the lives of working equine animals (Horse, Donkey & Mule). We are currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the vacant position of Community Animal Health Officer.

Job Locations

This position is based in Kasur and Khushab, Punjab.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local service providers, Government veterinarians, and para-veterinarians to impart training, thereby enhancing the quality of service delivery to equine animals.
• Utilize requisite veterinary knowledge and equine animal handling skills to provide high-quality veterinary services to working equines.
• Organize and carry out awareness-raising meetings and sessions for primary stakeholders within target communities, focusing on disease prevention and basic equine management practices.

Educational Qualifications and Skills

• A Degree in DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) from an accredited university or institute is required.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0 or above.
• Candidates who have completed an MPhil will be considered as a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with local service providers, government veterinarians, and para-veterinarians.
• Possession of requisite veterinary knowledge and proficient equine animal handling skills.
