Job Overview
The Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR), Punjab intends to hire the services of a suitable professional to serve as a Communication Specialist on Management Pay Scale (MPS-1) in order to strengthen the strategic communication capacity of the Department. This appointment will be made on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years, which is extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval by the competent authority.Qualification and Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet the following educational and professional criteria to be eligible for the Communication Specialist job:- Ph.D. in Mass Communication or in relevant subject(s) with 10 years of professional experience, OR
- 16 years of education in above subject(s) with 12 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applicants is 62 years. This age limit will be calculated as on the closing date of submission of applications.Terms and Conditions
- Appointment shall be made in accordance with the applicable Government rules and policies.
- The appointment shall be on a contract basis initially for a period of (03) years, further extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test or interview, if required.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for the test or interview.
- The Department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
