Job Overview

The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, seeks applications for the position of Chowkidar (BPS-01) for making regular appointments. These positions are available at multiple campuses:

• Eighteen (18) Posts - Main Campus, Lahore
• Thirty Five (35) Posts - Ravi Campus, Pattoki
• Twelve (12) Posts - CVAS, Jhang
• Ten (10) Posts - KBCMA CVAS, Narowal

Applicants must be Pakistani Nationals who are not married to a foreign national.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Be an ex-military man retired after completion of color service.
• Have a maximum age of forty-five (45) years.
• The period after retirement should not be more than seven (7) years.

Application Procedure

The application process involves two steps:
1. Online Application: Applicants must apply online through the University job portal at www.uvas.edu.pk/jobs. The last date to submit online applications is Tuesday, 13th May, 2025.
2. Hardcopy Submission: Applicants must submit a signed hardcopy/printout of the pre-filled online application form along with their credentials to the Registrar's Office, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore. This can be submitted by post or courier services. No application shall be received by hand. Fill the online form carefully as no editing will be allowed after Final Submission. The last date to receive the hardcopy application is Thursday, 15th May, 2025.

Application Fee: Applicants must generate and deposit a fee of Rs. 500/- through an ONLINE BANK CHALLAN in any branch of Bank Alfalah Ltd. in Pakistan. The Original Paid Bank Challan must be attached to the hardcopy application.

Multiple Campuses: Persons intending to apply for more than one campus must apply/submit a separate application for each campus.

• The University reserves the right not to fill any or all the advertised posts without assigning any reason.
• The University may adjust/transfer/post the selected candidate at any campus/centre of the University.
• Applications/candidates will be shortlisted according to criteria determined by the Vice Chancellor.
• The number of posts may be increased or decreased.
• Eligible candidates will be informed for interviews telephonically; separate call letters will not be issued.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
