Ignite, incorporated under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 by the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Government of Pakistan, funds startups and innovative projects leveraging 4th industrial wave technology. We focus on solving local problems and targeting global opportunities in sectors like health, education, energy, agriculture, telecom, finance, and more. Our network of incubators nurtures startups, connecting them with investors and corporations. We also run the DigiSkills.pk online training platform.

Role Overview

Ignite is looking for a highly professional and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage the financial operations of the Company. The ideal candidate must possess strong credentials, a clear vision for the financial health of the organization, and comply with relevant governance rules.

Qualification & Experience

The candidate must meet one of the following criteria:

• Be a member of an organized body of professional accountants with at least five years of relevant experience; OR
• Hold a Master's degree in finance-related disciplines from a university recognized by the HEC with at least ten years of relevant experience.

Additionally, the candidate must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria as laid down in State Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Rules 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a prescribed 'Declaration' on non-judicial stamp paper.

Term of Contract

The appointment is for an initial term of three (3) years. This term is extendable by the Board based on satisfactory performance and subject to prevailing laws.

Age Limit

The candidate's maximum age limit at the time of the advertisement publication should not exceed 55 years.

Ignite offers an excellent professional working environment. The remuneration package will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
