Role Responsibilities

Experienced in capitalizing fixed assets in collaboration with site planners and project managers.
Skilled in reconciling asset registers and overseeing month-end close processes, including audits and control testing.
Proficient in preparing account reconciliations, reviewing costs, and resolving discrepancies.
Knowledgeable in IFRS/GAAP, Barrick accounting policies, and maintaining compliance.
Capable of managing budgets, forecasts, and financial modeling.
Track and report capital expenditures, support project teams, and implement process improvements.
Strong focus on team collaboration, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting concepts.
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience.
Prior experience in capitalization of major construction projects; Site-based work experience preferred.

Required Skills

Experienced in SAP/OneStream, with a strong understanding of IFRS and construction project capitalization.
Skilled in analysis, problem-solving, and communication.
Site-based experience preferred.
Background in mining or major project industries is a plus.
Preference for candidates from Balochistan.
