About the Role
The Government Technical Training Institute in Gujranwala is looking to hire a Chef Instructor on a temporary, contract basis to conduct various short courses in culinary arts and food preparation. This role requires an individual who is passionate about cooking, knowledgeable in food science, and adept at transferring practical culinary skills to students. The instructor will be responsible for both theoretical lessons and hands-on cooking demonstrations.گورنمنٹ ٹیکنیکل ٹریننگ انسٹیٹیوٹ، گوجرانوالہ، مختلف شارٹ کورسز میں کھانا پکانے اور خوراک کی تیاری کے لیے ایک شیف انسٹرکٹر کی عارضی، کنٹریکٹ کی بنیاد پر خدمات حاصل کر رہا ہے۔ اس کردار کے لیے ایسے فرد کی ضرورت ہے جو کھانا پکانے کے بارے میں پرجوش ہو، فوڈ سائنس میں ماہر ہو، اور عملی کھانا پکانے کی مہارت کو طلباء میں منتقل کرنے میں ماہر ہو۔ انسٹرکٹر نظریاتی اسباق اور عملی کھانا پکانے کے مظاہرے دونوں کے لیے ذمہ دار ہوگا۔
Detailed Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for the Chef Instructor position must meet one of the following qualification and experience requirements:- 1. Graduate Qualification: A Graduate degree in Food Sciences & Technology, Food Sciences, or Nutrition, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a relevant trade.
- 2. B.Sc. Home Economics: A B.Sc. degree in Home Economics, with at least one year of relevant experience.
- 3. DAE Food Technology: A Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Food Technology or DAE Food Processing & Preservation Technology, with a minimum of one year of experience in a relevant trade.
- 4. Certified Cook: Completion of a certified 6-months Short course from a Government-recognized institute OR an Internship / OJT (On-the-Job Training) certificate from a renowned Hotel. This path preferably requires a graduation degree and a minimum of 3-4 years of professional cooking and/or baking experience.

- 1. گریجویٹ قابلیت: فوڈ سائنسز اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی، فوڈ سائنسز، یا نیوٹریشن میں گریجویٹ ڈگری، جس کے ساتھ متعلقہ شعبے میں کم از کم ایک سال کا تجربہ ہو۔
- 2. بی ایس سی ہوم اکنامکس: ہوم اکنامکس میں بی ایس سی کی ڈگری، جس کے ساتھ متعلقہ شعبے میں کم از کم ایک سال کا تجربہ ہو۔
- 3. ڈی اے ای فوڈ ٹیکنالوجی: فوڈ ٹیکنالوجی یا ڈی اے ای فوڈ پروسیسنگ اینڈ پریزرویشن ٹیکنالوجی میں ڈی اے ای (ڈپلومہ آف ایسوسی ایٹ انجینئر)، جس کے ساتھ متعلقہ شعبے میں کم از کم ایک سال کا تجربہ ہو۔
- 4. تصدیق شدہ باورچی: کسی سرکاری تسلیم شدہ ادارے سے 6 ماہ کا تصدیق شدہ شارٹ کورس مکمل کیا ہو یا کسی معروف ہوٹل سے انٹرنشپ/او جے ٹی (آن دی جاب ٹریننگ) کا سرٹیفکیٹ حاصل کیا ہو۔ اس کے لیے ترجیحاً گریجویشن کی ڈگری اور کھانا پکانے/بیکنگ میں کم از کم 3-4 سال کا پیشہ ورانہ تجربہ ہونا چاہیے۔

Prospective candidates meeting any of the above criteria are encouraged to participate in a walk-in interview. The interview will be held at the Principal's Office, Government Technical Training Institute, Ferozwala Road, Gujranwala, on3 October, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM.
Applicants must bring all original documents, including educational qualifications, experience certificates, National Identity Card (CNIC), and recent passport-sized photographs, for verification. Please note that no TA/DA (travel allowance/daily allowance) will be admissible for attending the interview. The institute reserves the full right to cancel any position without stating any reason.
