Central Project Director/PI

Position Overview

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual for the position of Central Project Director/PI (PPS-11) to lead the critical 'ESTABLISHMENT OF PAK KOREA NUTRITION CENTER (PKNC) TO IMPROVE CHILD AND COMMUNITY NUTRITION (Revised)' project. This role demands exceptional leadership, extensive research acumen, and robust administrative capabilities to ensure the successful execution and strategic oversight of the project.

Key Responsibilities

As the Central Project Director/PI, you will be at the forefront of this significant initiative. Your primary responsibilities will include strategic planning, effective project management, overseeing all research and administrative functions, and ensuring the project's objectives are met within defined timelines and resources. You will be instrumental in driving the project's vision and contributing to the betterment of child and community nutrition.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Nutrition, Food Technology, Agriculture, or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized University. A minimum of twelve (12) years of post-qualification experience in teaching and research is essential. This must include at least five (05) years of proven experience in administrative or project-related roles. We are looking for a leader who can leverage their academic and practical expertise to guide this vital project.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 6,12,500/-. This project-based appointment will initially be for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension until the project's completion, subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.
