Branch Operations Manager

Job Summary / Major Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities of the branch, ensuring compliance with SOPs and guidelines from the Head Office/SBP. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing branch operations in compliance with internal and external audits, as well as SBP exceptions.

- Reviewing daily vouchers and maintaining financial and administrative discipline.

- Custodianship of cash keys, ATM combination locks, and backup for the Cash Manager.

- Monitoring Suspense, Sundry ledgers, and General Ledgers.

- Overseeing service management, customer complaints, and service standards.

- Ensuring compliance with Zakat deductions, WHT, and other financial processes.

- Managing staff, providing training, and fostering teamwork between operations and sales teams.

- Ensuring branch security, maintenance of records, and adherence to dress codes.

- Risk management and fraud prevention measures.

- Managing requests related to ATM claims, duplicate instruments, and unclaimed deposits.

- Overseeing security arrangements, checking reconciliation statements, and ensuring proper records for cheque books and other financial instruments.

- Regular reporting and compliance with SBP and FD requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized local/ foreign university.

Age: Up to 55 years as of April 01, 2025.

Experience: Minimum 05 years of banking experience, preferably 02 years in same role.
