Job Overview

A contract position for a Bio-Statistician (Equivalent to BPS-17) is available at Khyber Girls Medical College/ Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar. The Bio-Statistician will be responsible for providing statistical support to research projects, managing health databases, conducting data analysis, and assisting in the interpretation and presentation of research findings. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience with statistical software.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualification:

• Master's degree in Epidemiology/ Biostatistics from a recognized University of HEC.
• Candidates having an M.Phil Degree will be preferred.

Experience:

• At least one year of post-qualification experience in conducting health research and managing databases.
• Experience in the use of SPSS, STATA, or similar software is required.

Age Limit

The age limit for this position is 25 to 40 years.

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000/- is applicable for this position. The fee can be paid to the cashier at the Account Section of KGMC, Peshawar, or submitted online to the KGMC account titled “Salary Account of KGMC Employees”, Account No. 3005642387, Bank of Khyber (BOK). The original deposit slip must be attached with the application form.

• Candidates may be shortlisted based on pre-interview marks or an Entry Test if the number of applicants is very high.
