Job Overview

The Executive Engineer, Jhelum Canal Division, Jhelum, is seeking applications for the temporary/contractual post of Baildar. This position is for a period of three months for the year 2025-2026. The role involves manual labor and general maintenance tasks as required by the department.

Qualifications and Eligibility

Qualification: Candidates must be healthy and skilled in performing the duties of a Baildar, including handling tools and materials (e.g., proficient in handling wood/timber for tasks).
Eligibility: Applicants must be domiciled in the districts of Punjab falling under the jurisdiction of this office. Existing daily wage/work-charge employees of the department are also eligible to apply.

Interview Details

Interviews for the post of Baildar will be held on 25th June, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Jhelum Canal Division Jhelum, 46-A Sarwar Road, Canal Colony, Jhelum Cantt. Candidates are required to bring their original documents at the time of the interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Terms and Conditions

• The appointment will be purely temporary (work-charge basis) for 3 months for the year 2025-2026 and does not confer any right to permanent employment.
• Selected candidates can be dismissed from service at any time without prior notice.
• Salaries will be paid according to the Government of Punjab's approved Schedule of Wage Rates for work-charge employees.
• Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
