Auto Technician

Role Overview

Rescue 1122 (Rescue 1122, Government of the Punjab) is seeking one qualified Auto Technician (BPS-12) for its Emergency Services Academy, likely located in Lahore. This is a contract position for an initial period of 2 years, further extendable subject to performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification: Diploma of Associate Engineering (Auto Electrical).
Experience: Preferably 2 years of relevant experience.
Age: 20-30 Years.

Selection Procedure

1. Apply online via Central Testing Service (CTS) website (www.ctspak.com) or link available at ESD website (www.rescue.gov.pk) by 30-04-2025.
2. Send completed APPLICATION FORMS by post to Central Testing Service.
3. Only completely filled applications fulfilling the complete criteria shall be accepted.
4. Written & psychological tests, Physical tests, and Skill tests shall be held at designated places.
5. List of qualifying candidates will be displayed on CTS & ESD websites after each process.
6. Final interview shall be conducted at the Rescue 1122 Headquarters at Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
7. At the time of interview, candidates shall submit a medical report issued by a Government Teaching Hospital or DHQ Hospital regarding physical examination (height, weight, chest, eyesight and physical deformities) and laboratory tests for Hepatitis B&C, HIV and RPR.

Terms and Conditions

• Candidates must meet physical standards: vision less than 6/6 each eye (without glasses), no color blind, obesity with BMI 30 or above, and negative Hepatitis B & C, HIV & RPR tests.
• No relaxation in age or qualification (Army/Civil). However, employees of the Rescue 1122 shall be given 5 years age relaxation for administrative posts only.
• Preference for height more than 5.6', minimum chest size 33'.
• Candidates can apply for only one suitable post.
• Local residents as per CNIC will be given preference.
• 5% quota for minorities & 15% quota for females shall be reserved. Shemales can also apply.
• Application acceptance is provisional and subject to verification.
