Job Overview

The Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has announced a vacancy for the post of Auto Mechanic (BPS-05) on a permanent basis. The position is based in the Peshawar district. The department is looking for a qualified and experienced male candidate to join their team and contribute to the maintenance of their vehicle fleet.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for the Auto Mechanic position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: At least a Second Division in a Secondary School Certificate (Matric) from a recognized board.
• License: Must possess a valid driving license.
• Certification: A one-year Auto Mechanic certificate from the Trade Testing Board, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, or a well-known auto mechanic workshop is required.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant practical experience.
• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years.

1. Obtain the application form from the department's website at www.livestockres.kp.gov.pk or from the office of the Veterinary Research Institute during working hours.
2. The application must be submitted along with attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificate, domicile, computerized national identity card (CNIC), and two recent passport-sized photographs.
3. Applications must be sent to the following address: Veterinary Research Institute, Opposite Traffic Police Lines, Bacha Khan Chowk, Peshawar.
4. The last date for application submission is 26/06/2025.
5. The name of the post 'Auto Mechanic' must be clearly written on the top of the envelope.
6. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
